Madrid + Habitable is a platform aimed at sharing and guiding a new concept of public space interventions with a comprehensive approach. It places the environmental and climatic dimension of urban design at the center, along with the social dimension and governance. This initiative emerges within the framework of the CLEVER Cities project, which fosters collaboration between cities and multidisciplinary learning to promote a new type of urban transformation rooted in nature. The ultimate goal is to achieve sustainable and socially inclusive cities in different countries around the world. The platform will serve as a guide, providing insights based on five criteria for public space interventions. These criteria are aimed at creating a healthy, playable, walkable, inclusive, and diverse city.
